 Québec City 400th Anniversary in 2008
|
In 2008, Québec City will celebrate its 400th Anniversary.
Lot of activities will be going on all year long. It's a must to see.
For all activities, just have a look on the calendar of the site.

An other great event might be present, the [b]RedBull Air Race[/b].The Air Race is the formula 1 for planes, the event would take place over the St-Laurent River. At the moment, they are negociating; but for the last two years, RedBull has present the RedBull Crashed Ice, and it was something to see.
Other big events might come up!
That's only one event!
There will be lot of activities in sport, art, culture, environment, science and technology. There will be activities for all familly members.
Québec City is a great historical city especially with the old Québec City, including the Château Frontenac, the Citadelle of Québec and lot of museums.

 2008 RedBull Crashed Ice
|
RedBull has announce that the 2008 RedBull Crashed Ice will be the fastest track they ever build. Once again the event will take place in the historical district of Old Quebec city.
The event will take place on January 25th for the qualifiers and the race will take place on the 26th.
For those of you who don't know what the Crashed Ice event is all about, it's a combination of downhill skiing, hockey and boardercross.

Since there has been too many discussions and not enough time, the event won't happen in Quebec city in 2008.

Quebec Air Show
|
The Quebec Air show has announce that some countries confirm their presence in 2008.
Canada Team : Snowbirds
France team : Patrouille de France
England team : Red Arrows
and for the first time at the same event, you will see from the USA:
US Navy : Blue Angels
US Air Force : Thunderbirds
This year event promises to be the biggest air show around the world.
